Ask-a-Librarian
This is a platform that enables library patrons to get direct help from the Librarian in charge of the reference desk. The platform permits queries in the form of live chart (for brief factual questions) and email messaging. Inquires can also be done through telephone and in person.
Dspace@Strathmore University
Access past editions of thesis, projects and examination papers online through SU-portal. This is an institutional repository of Strathmore University that facilitates deposit, preservation and distribution of digital content. The purpose of SU portal is to avail digital formats of Strathmore University’s literary warrant (Thesis, Dissertations, Past Papers among others).
Note: Dspace is only accessible within Strathmore University compound. efforts are underway to allow off-campus access.

Sage online journals: SAGE journals cover information in all academic disciplines World Bank E-library: which has over 2000 e-books, working papers and journal titles on governance, economics and development. Gale Thomson: which has Expanded Academic ASAP articles on all major academic disciplines. OECD: which is an online library of statistical databases, books and periodicals on economics. World Bank Data-Catalog: which provides free access to more than 2,000 development statistics articles on financial, business, health, economic and human development. An initial 330 indicators are available in French, Spanish and Arabic.
Strathmore University Edition
The Library has implemented a new catalog search plugin
(LibX) for Internet Explorer and Firefox. The idea is that users with
the plugin installed no longer have to first navigate to http://www.library.strathmore.edu
to start searching Library resources.
LibX comes with a
toolbar that allows users to quickly search Strathmore University
Library's online catalog, e-journals, articles, and databases directly from their browsers
